Beach Boys' Jones Beach show called off

They're not getting around.
The Beach Boys have canceled or postponed close to 30 shows on the band's current tour, including the Aug. 2 show at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater.
"We've been having a blast out there, and to keep the good vibrations going strong, we'll be taking a short break to recharge before getting back on the road in September," the group said in a statement explaining why all shows through Sept. 3 have been affected.
It was unclear whether the Jones Beach show was canceled or just postponed.
The band said they will resume touring in late September. In an Instagram post, frontman Mike Love wrote that all tickets for the paused shows will be honored following the band’s return to performing. He urged ticket holders to contact their local box office for additional information
The current tour was pegged to the 60th anniversary of the band's landmark album, "Pet Sounds."
The band's longtime associate Dean Torrence (of Jan & Dean fame) has said that Love, 85, has been experiencing health issues. "He's struggling now. He's not well, and he's struggling," Torrence told Rolling Stone this week, "but he's not going to stop until it's really over."
Love is the touring band's remaining original member.
