AI will never replace a journalist’s judgment. No content from our newsroom will be published without a journalist’s review.

Newsday does not use AI to generate stories, images or videos in our news coverage.

Newsday does use AI to summarize content, improve accessibility and make it easier for you to find our journalism online. We will always disclose when AI has been used to analyze data or assist in reporting, and the results will always be checked and confirmed by a journalist before publication.
