Buttercooky Bakery's hottest menu item of the moment: the blue-and-orange rainbow cookie. 

Inspired by the New York Knicks, owner Francesco Borgognone said his bakery has gone through as many as 15,000 Knicks-colored Italian cookies since they started selling them for $28.95 a pound. 

Whether you’re a sports fan or not, it’s hard not get swept up in the excitement with the Knicks so close to the championship. Following their nail-biting Game 1 victory, the Knicks continue their once-in-a-generation hot streak of 12 straight wins. A number of Long Island eateries have joined in the hysteria, offering themed treats. Here's where to find them:

Nassau:

Zio's Casa Di Dolce, Seaford

3649 Merrick Rd., Seaford

This traditional Italian bakery has started offering Knicks rainbow doughnuts ($8.25, credit card) and will offer them through the finals.

Danielle Ginsberg, bakery finisher at Zio’s, said they are selling out and constantly making new batches of rainbow doughnuts. They also offer Knicks-inspired cupcakes and cookies. More info: 516-785-2253


Town Bagel

Black and white cookies take on the Knicks colors ($4.25 each) at this Plainview bagel shop also coloring their bagels blue and orange ($2). Front Street Bakery

This Rockville Centre bakery has started offering orange and blue Knicks dot cookies, a spinoff of the Dot Cake trend. A half-pound box runs $13.25, while the 1-pound box is $28.95 with about 45 cookies. More info: 516-766-1199, frontstreetbakery.com


Seaqua Deli

4250 Jerusalem Ave., Massapequa

You’ll find heartier options here with  Knicks sandwiches like the Hart of the City ($13.99), served on a garlic hero with a fried chicken cutlet pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, basil and vodka sauce. The OG ($9.99) breakfast sandwich puts two eggs, Cheddar, bacon, a hash brown and Mike's Hot Honey together on a toasted brioche roll. The Brunson Burner ($12.49) is made with a double fried chicken cutlet, pepper jack cheese, fresh romaine, hot peppers and chipotle mayo. It's served on a pressed sun-dried tomato wrap.

"It was going to be a limited-time thing, but they’ve been selling like crazy," said Steve Sanchez, co-owner of Seaqua Deli. "We’ll keep making them as long as people are asking for it." More info: 516-799-5600, seaquadeli.com

Here, the rainbow cookie has been rebranded with Knicks colors. "We always try to do something special at the bakery for our New York teams," Borgognone said.

This Babylon hot spot started offering a bold and heat-packed take on pizza to celebrate the Knicks reaching the finals. They are offering a Buffalo chicken pie topped with blue ranch ($26) available at all the games through the end of the championship. More info: 631-314-6100, babylonsocial.com

Chubs Meats

This butcher shop has the Brunson sandwich ($15.99) , inspired by the New York Knicks' star player. It’s made with garlic Parmesan roasted chicken thighs, with Cooper sharp American cheese, and sauteed onions and homemade garlic parm sauce and parsley on a seeded semolina bread hero.
