Side Street Live, Long Island's singing dining experience, is moving to a new home as Patchogue's Side Street Dive shifts focus to private events. The NYC's Ellen Stardust Diner-inspired event series started at the Patchogue eatery this summer after Side Street Dive opened its doors in the spring. Earlier this week, the eatery stopped accepting reservations, and a new home for Side Street Live was announced on Instagram.

The experience will relaunch at Smithtown’s Bull Smith’s Tavern starting Nov. 5. The move of the popular dining experience, which features singing servers, confetti and bubble guns, was announced Thursday after the website teased a location shift. Owner Max Feinberg did not respond to requests for comment on Side Street Dive's future. The post stated that Side Street Dive is not closing and is set to become "Suffolk County’s premier event space," where customers can book showers, weddings, birthdays and corporate outings. Feinberg also owns Bull Smith’s Tavern and Borelli’s Tap Room in Long Beach.

The dining experience started with Saturday morning brunches and expanded to included dinners. It has since expanded to include ticketed themed shows such as a recent "Rocky Horror Picture Show" experience, which was held at the Patchogue eatery. The next one, and first since the announcement of the move, is called Summer Nights, a "Grease!" themed show where guests have dinner and watch the film, while singing staff perform live.

The experience included an exclusive cocktail menu featuring eight drinks with nods to various Broadway songs and shows.

The brunch offerings included a bacon, egg and cheese, French toast sticks as well as an assortment of pancake stacks such as confetti pancakes, banana strawberry pancakes and chocolate chip delight pancakes. The menu also included Side Street Live’s lunch and dinner specials.
