NY-231, Deer Park Avenue, near Kenmore Street has been reopened after a crash closed the road in both directions late this afternoon, a Suffolk County police spokesperson said.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Deer Park Avenue and Kenmore Street shortly before 5 p.m., the spokesperson said. One of the vehicles then struck a nearby male motorcyclist, the spokesperson said. The road was closed for several hours and had reopened as of 7:40 p.m., the spokesperson said.

The motorcyclist was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip with non-serious injuries, police said. A female driver and a female passenger from one of the vehicles were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
