Nassau County police are investigating an alleged bias incident after a man spray-painted "house of bullies" in Hebrew on the parking lot of a Woodmere synagogue on Wednesday.
Around 11:15 p.m. an unknown man entered the property of Young Israel of Woodmere at 859 Peninsula Blvd.
Video surveillance captured the man spray-painting the phrase as well as a reference to a portion of religious Scripture, police said.
The man is seen wearing a white mask, black hoodie, dark pants, black gloves and black shoes.
He then left the parking lot and walked south on Longacre Avenue toward Fiske Drive.
The investigation is ongoing.
In April, separate instances of antisemitic graffiti were found within 24 hours of each other at two Nassau County parks, which are being investigated as hate crimes.
