40-year-old woman shot in Greenlawn in domestic-related incident, police say

A woman was seriously injured in Greenlawn early Thursday after she was shot in a domestic-related incident, police said.

Around 12:52 a.m., a 40-year-old woman was shot by a man on Leigh Street. The man then fled the scene, police said.

Police determined the shooting occurred during a domestic-related incident.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

Police said they are still looking for the suspect.
