Prosecutors say Jordy Contreras, 21, of Brentwood, asked underage girls to send him nude images of themselves

A 21-year-old community college student from Brentwood has been indicted on child sexual abuse and child pornography charges for allegedly directing two 12-year-old girls to send him nude images of themselves and in one case, deputizing one of the girls to befriend kids as young as 6 years old on social media to obtain more sexual images of children, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.

Jordy Contreras, who a law enforcement source said is a 2023 Brentwood High School graduate who recently completed his first year at Suffolk County Community College as a liberal-arts major, is being held at the Nassau jail after his arrest on a six-count indictment.

Contreras was indicted Tuesday on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, coercion and enticement and three counts of receipt of child pornography for his alleged conduct between December 2025 and last June. 

Contreras' attorney did not respond to a Newsday message seeking comment Wednesday. 

A 12-year-old girl, identified as Jane Doe 1 in court papers, told authorities that she had exchanged sexually explicit photos and videos, including naked pictures of herself, videos in which she was nude and performing a sex act, and FaceTime calls and communications on the social media network Snapchat, with someone who authorities identified as Contreras. 

The girl told authorities that Contreras offered her currency for the popular video game Roblox to build her avatar as a form of payment for the explicit images. 

"Contreras directed Jane Doe 1 to befriend other girls on Snapchat, gain their trust, and request nude images of them," prosecutors said in court papers. "Jane Doe estimated that she did this 'thousands' of times, befriending young girls as young as six and up through 13 at Contreras’s direction," prosecutors said in a complaint, adding that Contreras instructed the girl to save the images and he later remotely accessed her Snapchat account and downloaded the images to his own devices. 

The girl told authorities that Contreras directed her to cut a backward letter "J" into her inner thigh as a "demonstration of loyalty," which she did using a razor blade as Contreras watched over a FaceTime call. 

Contreras "told her to go deeper and referenced the other girls who had also self-harmed at his direction," prosecutors said, adding that he showed the girl a photo of another girl with pink hair who had carved "Jordy" into her chest. 

The victim said Contreras had also showed her a video of Contreras sexually assaulting a boy, who appeared to be 4 or 5 years old, prosecutors said.

When the girl attempted to resist his demands or block him, he threatened to rape and kill her and harm her family, prosecutors said.

Another 12-year-old girl, referred to as Jane Doe 2 in court papers, told authorities that she met Contreras on Snapchat and communicated with him on the app, on FaceTime and through text messages and phone calls during which he "indicated that he wanted to meet her for sex and showed his genitals to her," prosecutors said. She also sent him photos of her breasts on Snapchat at his request. 

Authorities raided his home with a warrant on July 1 and seized 11 electronic devices, including an iPhone 17 ProMax, an iPhone 15 and a desktop computer, officials said.. A preliminary search of the iPhone 17, which was found on a desk in Contreras' bedroom, held at least 75 images and videos that depicted the sexual abuse of children. Contreras was arrested then and is set to be arraigned Friday in federal court in Central Islip. 

Authorities also seized a blanket, curtains and pants from Contreras' bedroom that prosecutors allege matches the same items in a video of Contreras performing a sex act that he allegedly sent to other potential victims, who authorities have not yet identified.
