Wyandanch man shot, wounded in drive-by in Port Jefferson Station, police say

A Wyandanch man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday morning in Port Jefferson Station while walking toward a bar on Main Street, Suffolk County police said.
The 21-year-old victim was on Wilson Street at 2:20 a.m. when a Nissan with three males inside pulled up beside him and the passenger in the back seat fired multiple shots, hitting him in the leg, authorities said.
The vehicle drove off, the police said. There have been no arrests.
Emergency responders took the victim to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Sixth Squad detectives are investigating the shooting and ask anyone with information to call 631-854-8652 or Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
