Siena surveyed 694 likely voters in the upcoming special election in the 3rd Congressional District between Feb. 3 and Feb. 6.

Democrat Tom Suozzi and Republican-backed Mazi Melesa Pilip are locked in a tight race, the new Newsday/Siena College poll shows, as early voting wraps this weekend and Election Day looms on Tuesday.

The poll also asked questions regarding which candidate would do the better job at addressing issues such as abortion and the influx of migrants.
