BACKGROUND

  • Jordonne, 32, of Manhasset, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic Party line in the general election.
  • He is an attorney for the Supreme Court of New York in Nassau County.
  • Jordonne received his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his juris doctor from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law.

ISSUES

  • Jordonne said he wants to combat the housing crisis by promoting policies that encourage more homebuilding throughout Nassau County. His plans include lowering the cost of living by simplifying the property tax assessment system, making it easier for homeowners to self-file their tax grievances and obtain reductions in their property taxes.
