Prices for houses on Long Island continued to creep upward last month.
The median sale price was $852,000 in Nassau County and $714,900 in Suffolk, according to data from OneKey MLS.
Meanwhile, closed sales were off to a slow start, falling 11.3% year over year in April, Newsday reported.
Out of nearly 5,000 closed sales this year, only around 350 were at or below the elusive $500,000 mark, data showed. The majority of the communities reporting sales in this budget were in Suffolk.
