Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart will throw out the first pitch for tonight's Yankees-White Sox game at Yankee Stadium, the team announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.
The Knicks stars are fresh off helping the team win its first NBA championship since 1973 in five games against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks' championship parade is Thursday along the Canyon of Heroes.
Brunson is no stranger to first pitches at Yankee Stadium; the NBA Finals MVP threw one out before a Subway Series game against the Mets on July 24, 2024.
Hart also has deep ties to the Yankees. His great-uncle was Elston Howard, the first Black player on the Yankees who won the 1963 AL MVP as well as six World Series with the club: four as a player and two as a coach.
