Odell Beckham Jr. is returning to the Giants, the team that first drafted him in 2014. The team made the announcement Monday afternoon after he worked out with team.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In his first five NFL seasons with the Giants, Beckham had more 1,000 receiving yards four times. (He only played in four games in the 2017 season because of an ankle injury.) He totaled 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns on 390 receptions in 59 games for the Giants.
Beckham, who turns 34 in November, last played in the NFL in 2024 for the Dolphins, appearing in nine games and making nine catches for 55 yards and no scores.
Monday was Beckham’s second workout with the Giants this offseason. It also comes after his Saturday appearance at Brian Burns’ charity softball game where he signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans.
Coach John Harbaugh said last month the team had good communication with Beckham but that adding him had to feel right for both parties.
A source confirmed that the Giants also are planning to sign Braxton Berrios to a one-year deal on Monday.
Berrios, 30, played four games with the Texans last season and caught six passes for 37 yards. The seven-year veteran adds depth after Gunner Olszewski suffered a season-ending Achilles injury during OTAs Friday.
Berrios began his career playing four seasons with the Jets and was an All-Pro returner in 2021.
