FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – Breece Hall is back from what he called a “good little vacation” and is confident that he can handle a full workload in the Jets’ season opener on Sunday against the Titans.

“I feel like I can do whatever I need to do for us to get the win,” Hall said after practice Thursday.

The Jets running back suffered a groin injury in practice 3 1/2 weeks ago. He was a little nervous at first because he had never injured his groin. Hall said it healed pretty quickly and that he was “stressing out” the trainers because he kept pushing to do more. Hall was a full participant in practice and feels strong going into Week 1.

“I could have been out there a little bit earlier," he said. "I’m thankful they were very cautious with me. It was a real good vacation, and I feel really fresh now.”

Hall rushed for 1,065 yards, totaled 1,415 scrimmage yards and scored five touchdowns last season and the Jets signed him to a three-year, $43.5 million contract in the offseason. New offensive coordinator Frank Reich called Hall “a bell cow” and plans to use him as much as he can against the Titans.

“My mindset is if he's healthy, he’s healthy” Reich said. “We always like to kind of rotate guys a little bit anyway, but unless [Aaron Glenn] and the training staff give us a rep count, then we just play ball.”

Hall said his personal goal this year is “just win” and that making the playoffs would be a successful season.
