The Jets on Thursday unveiled their new "Gotham City Football" rivalry uniforms that they'll wear when they host the Miami Dolphins on Dec. 7.

The Jets are part of the NFL's first group of teams using the new rivalry uniforms from Nike. AFC East and NFC West teams will debut their uniforms this season. Teams from the AFC South and NFC North will go in 2026, followed by NFC East and AFC West teams in 2027, and AFC North and NFC South teams in 2028.

"It quickly became evident that Gotham City Football was an obvious direction for us to take with the Rivalry uniform," Chris Pierce, vice president of fan commerce for the Jets, told the team's website. "The story influenced our colorways — our green being treated with a filter that reflects the hazy, steamy, smoky city streets. Adding in Black, Light Iron Ore and Dark Stucco all strong identifying elements of New York City streetscape was an obvious decision. The nod to the iconic NYC manhole pattern on the shoulder and in the background to the plane is uniquely our own and strong imagery that defines the toughness and work ethic of the people who call this great city home. Adding our fifth uniform and third helmet in 16 months is something we are extremely proud of as an organization. We intend to have uniforms that resonate with our players and fans and demonstrate a deep emotional connection to what it means to be a New York Jet."

The Dolphins will wear their rivalry uniforms when they host the Jets on Sept. 27, and the Patriots will do the same against the Jets on Nov. 13.
