Newsday's top 10 Nassau boys badminton players for 2026 fall season

Newsday's annual list of the top 10 Nassau high school badminton players to start the 2026 season, listed in alphabetical order. All stats listed are from last season, unless otherwise noted.
Aiden Chen, Jericho, Jr.
Chen went 12-2 in singles and helped Jericho win the Long Island title.
Calvin Chen, Roslyn, Jr.
Chen will continue to lead Roslyn at first singles as the team enters its second season in Conference I.
Michael Li, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, Jr.
Li finished off a second straight undefeated (14-0) regular season and was runner-up at the individual county championship.
Justin Liu, Jericho, Jr.
Liu went undefeated (14-0) in singles competition.
Ryan Su, Syosset, Sr.
Su finished 8-6 in his first season at first singles for Syosset.
Shenglin Tang, Great Neck South, Sr.
Tang will enter his second season at second singles, looking to help Great Neck South reach the county final again.
Arthur Xu, Great Neck South, Jr.
Xu took over first singles last season and won the individual county championship.
Sunny Wu, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, Jr.
A former doubles county runner-up, Wu has excelled at second singles the past two seasons.
Henry Qui, Jr. and Ryan Chan, Soph., Jericho
The duo went 13-1 in third doubles and will move up to first doubles.
