Kendu Brown, Nayir Jackson connect for three touchdowns for Erasmus Hall in PSAL football
Kendu Brown completed 10 of 15 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Erasmus Hall to a 52-32 win over Eagle Academy II Friday in PSAL 4A.
Nayir Jackson had five receptions for 189 yards and three touchdowns. Ameir Morrow had six carries for 33 yards and three touchdowns, Jaire Lewis had 94 yards of offense on 10 touches and Davi Watters had a fumble return for a touchdown. Erasmus Hall's defense forced three fumbles in the first quarter and Brandon Garcia had eight tackles.
Josiah Brown had two receiving touchdowns from Aaron Smith, and Zy'eare Schulters returned a kickoff for a touchdown for Eagle Academy II (3-1).
JFK 58, Fort Hamilton 20: Derik Betances rushed for 150 yards and two scores to lead host JFK (1-3). Jasihya Beauford had 110 receiving yards and a touchdown. Avery Reed had six tackles.
Lincoln 47, Clinton 8: Christian Borhi completed 8 of 11 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown for Lincoln (3-1). Jaiden Brooks had a 64-yard touchdown reception and added three tackles and an interception. Ron Jones had three tackles for loss.
Curtis 49, New Dorp 0: Jayden Melendez had two receptions for 40 yards and two scores, along with a punt-return touchdown to lead host Curtis (4-0). Vincent Canzoneri had 204 passing yards and four touchdowns. Akai Lewis had a 75-yard touchdown reception and TJ Lewis caught a 55-yard TD. Kashawn Shipman recovered a fumble.
Tottenville 42, Wagner 7: Kory Brown totaled 119 yards of offense with three touchdowns on just five touches to lead host Tottenville (4-0). Joe Gallina added 48 rushing yards and a touchdown. Tyshawn Bent had five carries for 60 yards and a touchdown. Justin McGuire added a passing touchdown. Kaden Alejandro had a 22-yard touchdown for Wagner (2-2).
PSAL 1A
Mott Haven 12, Grady 6: Rudolph Akumani completed 8 of 15 passes for 132 yards and a TD and rushed nine times for 58 yards and a TD to lead Mott Haven (3-0). Jordan Bennet caught a 25-yard TD pass.
Petrides 36, Information Technology 6: David Lee completed 5 of 6 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns to lead Petrides (3-0) in PSAL I-A. Jaiden Brown caught two passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Jeremiah Kaska had two interceptions and a touchdown. Mike Giordano had two receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown. Josh Okwuabueze rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
