NASSAU I

Christian McCravey rushed eight times for 239 yards and three touchdowns to lead visiting Freeport to a 28-13 win over Herricks/Wheatley/Roslyn in Nassau Conference I Friday night. McCravey ran for two TDs of 71 yards and another of 66 yards. Dylan Pigott had a 37-yard rushing score, and Jaison Gentles made seven tackles for Freeport (2-1). Alex Giuliano ran for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to Asher Berkowitz for Herricks/Wheatley/Roslyn (0-2).

Farmingdale 28, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 20: Nick Toto rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns and completed 9 of 12 passes for 156 yards and a TD for host Farmingdale (1-1). Jack Watrous added 69 rushing yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 92 yards and a score. Michael Bilello had a sack. Drew Sansobrino had two rushing touchdowns for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (2-1). Alex Zager caught a TD pass from Ethan Brake.

Massapequa 37, Syosset 7: Justin Farrell had two sacks, one of which was in the end zone for a safety, and a fumble return for a touchdown for visiting Massapequa (2-0). Farell also caught an 18-yard TD from Luke Garguilo. Jason LaRosa ran for a 69-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage. Raghav Ghosh caught an 8-yard TD pass from George Metaxas for Syosset (1-2).

Port Washington 39, Westbury 8: Harry Eynon completed 11 of 13 passes for 171 yards and two TDs to lead visiting Port Washington (2-1). Joe Fox had four catches for 42 yards, four carries for 46 yards a 24-yard pick-6 and five tackles, including two for loss. Jackson McCormack had 14 carries for 107 yards and three TDs. Max McElhone caught two passes for 63 yards and a TD and added 37 rushing yards and Levi Felix had two receptions for 29 yards and a TD. James McCormack had six tackles, including one for a loss and two sacks. Owen Lang had two tackles and an interception. Brandon Chavez ran for a TD and a two-point conversion for Westbury (0-2).

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Hempstead 28, Hicksville 0: Seth Montgomery threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 71 yards for visiting Hempstead (2-0). Lamarcus Parson rushed for 71 yards and a score. Noah Smith had a 77-yard kickoff return for a TD. Hicksville fell to 0-2.

East Meadow 47, Uniondale 21: Alexander Lengu took 15 carries for 166 yards and a touchdown and had eight tackles and one for a loss for visiting East Meadow (2-1). Josh Perez had nine carries for 90 yards and two TDs and caught a 21-yard TD pass. Noah Garner ran 10 times for 83 yards and a score with three tackles and one TFL. Nick Schwabe caught four passes for 100 yards and a TD and ran for a TD. Mike Petitto completed 5 of 7 passes for 121 yards and two TDs. Jake Meslin had an interception. Steve Manzanares caught touchdown passes of 28 and 41 passes from Abelardo Peralta for Uniondale (0-3). Aiden Lee added a 4-yard TD run.

NASSAU II

Gianni Capizzi returned a fumble 97 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring and recovered a fumble in double overtime, forced by Anthony Cespedes, to seal a 25-19 win for Calhoun over Mepham Friday in the Colts’ home opener in Nassau Conference II on Friday. Jacob Fortin threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Joe Smith for the go-ahead score in double overtime before Capizzi’s fumble recovery. Fortin completed 13 of 20 for 101 yards and a TD and added 51 rushing yards and a rushing TD for Calhoun (1-1). Smith caught four passes for 51 yards and a score. Nick Maresca ran for 86 yards and a score. James Chicco had four tackles, a sack and an interception. Aydin Habib had three tackles and an interception. Greene returned a fumble 19 yards for a TD for Mepham (1-1). Paulie Genovese ran for a TD and Kellen Franquiz caught 20-yard TD pass from Adam Erlichman.

Roosevelt 29, Jericho 6: Tyreik McClenic had 10 carries for 138 yards and a touchdown for host Roosevelt (1-1). Michael Dawson added 122 yards with two TDs on nine carries and Ryan Jones had a 7-yard TD run. TJ Silas had four tackles and a sack. Jake Morgan caught a 7-yard TD pass from his brother, Brody for Jericho (0-2).

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Valley Stream Central 32, New Hyde Park 28: Evan Nelson dove for a first down on a fourth-and-1 with two minutes left to seal the win for visiting Valley Stream Central (2-0). Nelson ran for three touchdowns and two two-point conversions and threw a TD pass to Matthew Feaster. Rocco Natale scored three touchdowns for New Hyde Park (1-1).

Carey 42, Baldwin 7: Justin DePietro ran five times for 61 yards and two touchdowns and had six tackles for host Carey (2-0). Dylan Walsh took seven carries for 52 yards and two TDs. Gunnar Nelson threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Vince Vicari. Michael Lombardi made all five of his PATs. Raphael Bourdeau threw a 54-touchdown pass to Mekhai Samuels for Baldwin (0-2).

Garden City 35, MacArthur 7: Brayden Robertiello threw for 67 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 21 yards and a TD to lead host Garden City (2-0). The Trojans extended their state-record winning streak to 68 games, the longest active winning streak in the country. Ben Smith caught three passes for 55 yards and two scores. Anthony Asaro had four carries for 40 yards and a TD and caught a 7-yard TD pass. Christian Roddini had two carries for 77 yard and added an interception. Andrew Dengler added an interception. Vinny Szucs ran for a 12-yard TD for MacArthur (0-2).

NASSAU III

Dean Palmieri rushed 10 times for 155 yards, three touchdowns and a two-point conversion to lead visiting Mineola to a 20-6 win over Glen Cove in Nassau Conference III Friday night. Palmieri added an interception. Brendan Torres had 11 carries for 85 yards and made 10 tackles for Mineola (1-1). The win snapped an 11-game losing streak that dated back to Oct. 25, 2024. Xavier Maldonado ran for a touchdown for Glen Cove (0-2).

Plainedge 54, Division 12: Aidan Ryan completed all three of his passes for 101 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Plainedge (1-1). Dom Agovino had nine carries for 101 yards and two TDs to lead the Red Devils’ rushing attack, which saw nine ballcarriers combine for 425 yards. Evan Vasquez ran for an 81-yard TD, Mike Ranaudo ran for 71 yards and a score and Aiden Mulvey added 92 yards and a TD. Lucas Rizzo had two interceptions, Andrew Speed had one INT and Casey Auer had three sacks. Aiden Mirelis caught an 11-yard TD pass from Chris Ruggia and Mike Dedentro ran for a TD for Division (0-2).

Wantagh 49, Sewanhaka 12: Luke Martini ran for 201 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries to lead host Wantagh (2-0). Vincenzo Fullone opened the scoring with a fumble return for a score. Luke Rubbo added a 45-yard pick-6 and Mikey Arteca had a 80-yard kickoff return TD. Brendan Wood made seven PATs. Gleed-Arly Josma had a 75-yard kickoff return TD for Sewanhaka (1-1).

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Bethpage 35, Elmont 14: Michael Mastrangelo completed five passes for 91 yards and three touchdowns to lead visiting Bethpage (2-0). Liam Farrell ran for a TD and caught two TD passes. Jake Giunta had two sacks and a TFL. Elijah Davis scored two touchdowns for Elmont (0-2).

Manhasset 42, Hewlett 19: LJ Michon rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns and compelted 5 of 6 passes for 107 yards and a TD to lead host Manhasset (2-0). Michael DePietro rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Reid Schwartz and Andrew LaMarca each added a TD run. Nick Ciampa had an interception, and George Gipp added 11 tackles. Dylan Parchment had two TD runs and Elai Karadi caught a 52-yard TD pass from Preston Cusumano for Hewlett (1-1).

South Side 40, Clarke 7: AJ Magaraci rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries to lead host South Side (2-0). Reagan Petrone and Ethan Johnson each added a TD. Rob Cesario Jr. threw for 87 yards and two scores. Ryan Solomon caught three passes for 81 yards and a TD and Kieran Vetter added a TD catch. Will Grassini connected with Yaya Segura for a 31-yard TD pass for Clarke (0-2).

NASSAU IV

Ryan Terwilliger had three catches for 89 yards and two interceptions to lead visiting Floral Park to a 34-28 win over Valley Stream North Friday in Nassau IV. Aubrey Greaves had a 44-yard pick-6. Dylan Halsey had 46 receiving yards, a TD and an interception. Danny Ring completed 10 of 14 passes for 164 yards and two scores. Andy Chen made two 26-yard field goals and three PATs for Floral Park (2-0).

Adebayo Kayode ran 18 times for 176 yards and a touchdown for Valley Stream North (1-1). Justin Gangi took seven carries for 112 yards and two TDs. He also caught a 67-yard TD pass from Max Guzman.

Cold Spring Harbor 19, Malverne 8: Conall Reynolds ran for a 7-yard touchdown and threw a 20-yard TD to Denis Kiely to lead visiting Cold Spring Harbor (1-1). Blake Alloca added a 10-yard TD run in the fourth quarter to give the Seahawks a two-score lead. Isaiah Smith had 15 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown and Jayden Johnson ran for 56 yards and a two-point conversion for Malverne (1-1).

Seaford 35, East Rockaway/West Hempstead 14: Finn Curry completed 20 of 27 passes for 282 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 52 yards and a score for visiting Seaford (1-1). Michael Kofod caught eight passes for 135 yards and a touchdown, Brock Conway had four catches for 51 yards and two TDs and Nick Palluzzi caught three passes for 34 yards and a score. Maurice Knight caught a 24-yard TD pass from Tristen Rose and Jayden Romeo ran for a TD and a two-point conversion for East Rockaway/West Hempstead (0-2).

SATURDAY’S GAMES

Lynbrook 27, Locust Valley 7: Tommy Potash ran for touchdowns of 65, 14 and 3 yards for host Lynbrook (2-0). Will O’Riordan completed a 28-yard touchdown pass to Orji Agwu. Joe Lagalante ran for a 5-yard touchdown for Locust Valley (0-2).

Valley Stream South 28, Oyster Bay/Friends Academy 8: Hunter Rush forced a fumble on Oyster Bay/Friends Academy’s opening drive and returned it 52 yards before running in a 6-yard TD for visiting Valley Stream South (2-0). Aiden Paris ran 19 times for 158 yards and two TDs. Jace Thomas had a 36-yard pick-6. Jonathan Gomez went 4-for-4 on PATs. Anthony Scheidet ran for a 12-yard touchdown for Oyster Bay/Friends Academy (0-3).

North Shore 42, Island Trees 27: Joey Cristofari rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and completed eight passes for 178 yards and two TDs to lead visiting North Shore (2-0). Casey Gates had six carries for 87 yards and a score and caught three passes for 92 yards and a TD. Tommy Curran ran for a TD and caught a TD pass. Markus Bazelais ran for a TD and caught a 34-yard TD pass from Kurt Echezuria, who threw three scores for Island Trees (1-2).
