DIVISION I
Brentwood 34, Sachem East 21: Cris Peralta carried the load for Brentwood football on Saturday in its 34-21 home win over Sachem East in Suffolk I, taking 39 carries for 273 yards, two TDs and two two-point runs. He added three catches for 31 yards and a TD, plus 10 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Julius Herrera threw the go-ahead score to Mizael Taveras with 7:37 left in the game and Nate Bouquet had a clutch interception with 3:22 remaining. Amari Wallace had six tackles and two TFLs and Herrera had eight tackles. Cristian Amaya added a sack and a forced fumble for Brentwood (2-3).
Cody Quinlivan ran for two TDs of 86 and 70 yards for Sachem East (2-3).
Longwood 36, Riverhead 0: Kyon Sarwari had 159 all-purpose yards and three TDs for Longwood (3-2) in its road win. Nyyir Thomas had four tackles and two sacks and Travis Gibbs, Tyler Lorentzen, Hayri Ozgun, Caleb Munoz, Craig Harty and Ed Princivil all added a sack. Riverhead is 0-5.
Sachem North 42, Patchogue-Medford 20: Jake Spera had 137 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries to lead host Sachem North (3-2). Henry Sarro had two rushing scores and Jon Giraulo returned a fumble 34 yards for a TD. Lucas Bouchard had six receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. Aidyn Modeste had three rushing TDs for Patchogue-Medford (2-3).
Whitman 44, Bay Shore 6: Mark Rutledge rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries for Whitman (3-2) in its road win. Aiden Jorgensen had three catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Churchman had a 42-yard pick-six. Layton Avinel caught a 15-yard TD for Bay Shore (0-5).
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Floyd 27, Lindenhurst 7: Ja’Quan Thomas ran for 235 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries and added 10 tackles to lead visiting Floyd (5-0) in Suffolk I. He ran for TDs of 63, 3 and 2 yards. Jake Rivera had four sacks and eight tackles. Mikey Russo ran for a TD for Lindenhurst (3-2).
Ward Melville 56, Central Islip 0: Tony Gorsky had 10 carries for 157 yards and a touchdown to lead host Ward Melville (5-0). Joe Benedetto ran for two TDs and Hudson Philbrick ran for a score and threw a 44-yard TD pass to Jesse Spronck. Angelo Sorbera, Christian Hubbard and LJ DePaul all ran for TDs. Joey Karpowicz had two INTs. Central Islip is 2-3.
DIVISION II
Commack 36, Copiague 29: With 47 seconds left, Commack’s Lincoln Riggs threw a 50-yard TD pass to Mason Ruocco for the go-ahead score before Ruocco recorded an interception on the first play of the ensuing drive to seal a 36-29 home win over Copiague Saturday in Suffolk II. Riggs finished with 327 passing yards and four TDs, leading the Cougars (2-3) to 15 fourth-quarter points in their homecoming win. Ruocco dominated with 14 receptions for 196 yards and three TDs. Jalen Jean-Louis ran for 118 yards and a TD, adding 79 receiving yards through the air. Kevin Mackey ran for two TD runs for Copiague (2-3).
East Islip 37, North Babylon 35: AJ Ierardi led East Islip (5-0) to a road win, completing six of 10 passing attempts for 201 yards and three touchdowns along with a 1-yard TD run. He also converted two 2-point attempts on the ground. Jake Simmons ran 15 times for 87 yards and a TD. Niko Myers caught three passes for 104 yards and a TD, and Eddie Simonetti had two receptions for 85 yards and two scores.
TJ Shaw took 10 carries for 108 yards and two TDs, and Dominic Prestano ran 19 times for 105 yards and two TDs for North Babylon (2-3). Jovan Greenhill added seven rushes for 95 yards and a TD.
Northport 21, Newfield 7: Luke Loiacono blocked a first-quarter field goal attempt and returned it 60 yards before punching in a 3-yard TD for visiting Northport (5-0). Loiacono also caught a 25-yard TD pass from Simon Blissett. Carson Ciaio closed the scoring on a 4-yard pass from Blissett.
Connor Stebbins scored a rushing TD for Newfield (2-3).
Half Hollow Hills East 23, Bellport 13: Daniel White rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns to lead Half Hollow Hills East (3-2). Jayden Bryan ran for 152 yards and another TD. Gianpierro Nicolia made 12 tackles, and forced and recovered a fumble. Jake Pagliaro made eight tackles.
Braydon Cipp and Aiden Kerr each rushed for a touchdown for Bellport (3-2).
Centereach 20, West Babylon 0: Jake Mikochik had 31 carries for 201 yards and a TD to lead host Centereach (1-4). He added a 13-yard passing TD. Gunner Periano led the team in passing, going 7 for 14 for 101 yards. Zach Sandora made five catches for 83 yards and a TD. Jeremiah Rivera had five tackles and a sack. Jake Vitiello had an interception and four tackles. Both Jamal Joda and Joe Farrugia recorded a sack, with Farrugia adding five tackles. West Babylon is 1-4.
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Huntington 21, Connetquot 14: Jacob Guzik went 12 for 15 for 131 passing yards and a TD for Huntington (4-1). Yasir Jones had 84 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries while Titan Elysee made an 85-yard kick return TD. Vincent Feraca went 11 for 17 with 117 yards and a touchdown for Connetquot (1-4). Jonas Mendez added 60 yards and a touchdown on two catches.
Smithtown East 31, Deer Park 21: Antonio Marrone ran 17 times for 71 yards and two TDs for Smithtown East (3-2), adding 212 yards and a TD through the air on 11 of 19 passing attempts. Jonathan Jean totaled 106 yards and a TD on four catches. David Sack led the defense with seven tackles and two sacks. Nicolas Stroveglia converted all four of his PAT attempts and kicked a 38-yard field goal.
DIVISION III
West Islip 14, Rocky Point 7: Jake Kramer rushed 20 times for 109 yards and a TD, helping Steve Mileti record his 100th win as West Islip’s head coach in the Eagles’ 14-7 home win over Rocky Point on Saturday in Suffolk III. TJ Sonnenberg completed 15 of 20 passes for 121 yards, including the winning 10-yard TD pass to Matt McDermott with 26 seconds remaining in the game.
Mileti is now 100-54 and in his 17th year as head coach for West Islip (4-1). Conor Kenefick caught five passes for 50 yards and converted both PATs. He also had an INT.
Peyton Reisenger threw a 6-yard TD pass to John Nadeau to tie the score at 7 in the second quarter for Rocky Point (3-2).
Islip 42, Comsewogue 23: Jake DeGennaro rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries and added five catches for 65 yards to lead Islip (4-1) to a road win.
Jack Rao completed 14 of 19 passes for 170 yards and a score and rushed for 80 yards and two TDs on nine carries. Jack Gardner had six catches for 70 yards and a TD. Carmine Rosselli had 19 tackles. Jhon Elmounce had a 25-yard INT return.
Connor Rocchio caught a 10-yard TD pass from Nick Saladino for Comsewogue (2-3). Robert DiFazio punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Sean Griffin went 2-for-2 on PATs and kicked a 35-yard field goal.
Eastport-South Manor 41, Wyandanch 0: Max Ferraro had 50 rushing yards and a touchdown on seven carries and caught a 6-yard TD for Eastport-South Manor (3-2). Matt Beardsley completed four passes for 133 yards and three scores. Joey Hershey rushed 10 times for 75 yards and had a 40-yard TD. Jayden Durham ran for 43 yards and caught a 62-yard TD pass. Will Thomas added a 5-yard TD run. Wyandanch is 0-5.
FRIDAY’S GAMES
Hauppauge 49, Half Hollow Hills West 38: Liam O’Connor rumbled for 296 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries for Hauppauge (2-3). He also added 10 tackles and an interception on defense. Nick LaChapelle had five carries for 57 yards and three TDs. He added an 11-yard TD toss to Oscar Jakubowski. Anthony Barbera connected with Christian Mooney for a 30-yard TD through the air. Danny Youngworth converted all six of his extra-point attempts. Luke Taff ran for a score for Hills West (0-5) and threw three touchdowns to Jayden Smith, including a 76-yard score in the fourth quarter. Sal Caiazzo ran for a 9-yard TD.
Harborfields 20, Amityville 18: Vern Bratton rushed 10 times for 90 yards and a touchdown to lead visiting Harborfields (2-3). The Tornadoes trailed 12-0 in the second quarter and didn’t take a lead until the third quarter. Ethan Roman intercepted a pass along the sideline late in the fourth quarter to seal the result. Landon Paulino completed 7 of 9 passes for 85 yards and connected with Matthew Rampersaud for a 30-yard TD. Rampersaud finished with four receptions for 70 yards. Jacob Billinger ran for two TDs for Amityville (1-4).
DIVISION IV
Miller Place 38, Shoreham-Wading River 14: Camryn Hardy had 17 carries for 233 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a two-point conversion to lead Miller Place to a 38-14 win over Shoreham-Wading River on Friday in Suffolk IV.
Shane Kiernan completed 14 of 21 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns. AJ Rudolph caught five passes for 71 yards. Jack Abbott had four receptions for 60 yards and two TDs, and added seven tackles and two pass breakups. Drew Meyer had 10 tackles and a pass breakup and Van Johnson made nine tackles.
Noah Gregorek ran for a touchdown and threw a 14-yard TD to George Greene for Shoreham-Wading River (2-3).
Glenn 23, Hampton Bays 0: GJ Cook had 103 receiving yards and a touchdown to lead Glenn. On defense, he added eight tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception. Joe Competiello added 106 rushing yards and 140 passing yards, with a TD both on the ground and through the air. Keith King ran for a touchdown and led the defense for Glenn (3-2) with 12 tackles. Mike Kilgannon caught an interception and Karim Rafiq had a sack for a safety. Khoshal Rametra blocked a punt. Hampton Bays is 0-5.
SATURDAY’S GAMES
Babylon 41, Port Jefferson 7: Aidan Winter had seven carries for 162 yards and two TDs for host Babylon (5-0). Winter also added a 47-yard punt return. Kai Jankow had one carry for a 15-yard TD and went 3-for-4 with one passing TD. Zak Vasquez led the defense with five tackles. Port Jefferson is 0-5.
Mount Sinai 31, Kings Park 6: Max Sorrentino threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns for host Mount Sinai (3-2). Daniel Paolella had seven receptions for 189 yards and two scores and a 53-yard rushing score. Dontae Spadaro ran for 193 yards on 18 carries. Nicholas Vaccaro had a 56-yard TD reception and two sacks and Ethan Arita had a sack. Frankie Buffolino had an 8-yard TD catch from Brandon Shapiro for Kings Park (2-4).
