DIVISION I
Sachem East 14, Lindenhurst 13: Sal Sinacore blocked a punt midway through the fourth quarter to set up Cody Quinlivan’s winning 3-yard rushing touchdown as visiting Sachem East defeated Lindenhurst, 14-13, Friday night in Suffolk Division I. Sinacore added an 18-yard receiving touchdown, finishing with four catches for 51 yards. Quinlivan had 136 yards on 28 carries and a TD for Sachem East (2-2). Mikey Russo had a 20-yard touchdown pass and a 2-yard touchdown run for Lindenhurst (3-1).
Whitman 15, Central Islip 0: Mark Rutledge ran for 163 yards on 16 carries and Jarone Park added 59 yards on eight carries and two TDs to lead host Whitman (2-2). Micah Brandon had 10 tackles, Jordan Churchman and Rutledge each added eight tackles, and Aiden Jorgensen and Dom Chiusano each had six tackles. Central Islip is 2-2.
Floyd 21, Longwood 18: Ja’Quan Thomas rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries to keep host Floyd (4-0) undefeated on Saturday. Aisays Wallace rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, and added a sack. Aidan Williams racked up three tackles for loss, including a sack. Ryan Greene threw two touchdown passes, including a 62-yard score to Kaden Reid, for Longwood (2-2).
Ward Melville 43, Sachem North 13: Hudson Philbrick completed 10 of 12 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns for host Ward Melville. Victor Bergamaschi led the defense with two sacks and two tackles for loss. Joe Benedetto rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries for Ward Melville (4-0). Luke LaRocca threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Lucas Bouchard for Sachem North (2-2). Henry Sarro added a 1-yard rushing touchdown.
Brentwood 42, Riverhead 7: Cris Peralta rushed for 263 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries. He also added a two-point conversion and two receptions for 24 yards to finish with 284 total yards for host Brentwood (1-3). Malachi Baker added 58 rushing yards and a touchdown. Both Herson Flors and Justin Rivera recovered a fumble, with Rivera also recording an interception. Josiah Rodney threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to William Healy for Riverhead (0-4).
DIVISION II
Copiague 27, Centereach 17: Roger Rowe led Copiague to a comeback win with rushing touchdowns of 96 and 65 yards, plus a 54-yard TD pass to Jayden Herrera, as the Eagles soared to a 27-17 home win over Centereach in Suffolk II after trailing by 14 points on Saturday. Herrera added six carries for 70 yards and a score. Keon Williams had two interceptions and Charles Williams had one for Copiague (2-2). Jake Mikochik ran 37 times for 187 yards and two TDs for Centereach (0-4).
Bellport 40, North Babylon 7: Kingston John rushed for 118 yards on five carries and 2 TDs for Bellport in its road win. Luciano Cunha, Braydon Cipp, and Matt Chojnacki each added a rushing TD. Dominic Prestano caught a 16-yard TD pass for North Babylon (2-2).
Northport 33, Deer Park 6: Simon Blissett threw for 335 yards and three TDs and rushed for 71 yards with a TD to lead host Northport (4-0). Danny Miller contributed two touchdowns and two sacks. Tommy Zarcone added 11 tackles, including three for loss. Christian Myrick returned a kickoff 83 yards for a TD for Deer Park (1-3).
Newfield 28, West Babylon 7: Newfield totaled 289 rushing yards on 32 carries, led by Dante Powell (8-74-1), Nick Lucenti (12-65-1) and Micah Washington (2-48-1), in the Wolverines’ home win. Powell added 11 tackles on defense. Aiden Perrino ripped off a 59-yard run on his only carry for Newfield (2-2). West Babylon is 1-3.
Half Hollow Hills East 40, Connetquot 19: Jayden Bryan rushed for 100 yards and four TDs and added five tackles to lead Half Hollow Hills East (2-2) to a road win. Daniel White rushed for 160 yards and a TD. Akio Johnson had eight tackles and one sack. Dante Milano had seven tackles, and Alex Floropolus had four tackles and a sack. Damian Sosa had a 75-yard fumble return for a TD for Connetquot (1-3).
DIVISION III
East Hampton/Bridgehampton/Pierson 45, Smithtown West 7: Jai Feaster made the most of his nine carries, running for 145 yards and two TDs, plus five tackles and a sack on defense, as East Hampton/Bridgehampton/Pierson marched to a dominant 45-7 home win over Smithtown West in Suffolk III Saturday. Alex Davis ran for two TDs. Livs Kuplins ran for a 51-yard TD for the Bonackers (3-1) and caught a 17-yard touchdown from Theo Ball. Vin Lepore had an 80-yard kickoff return for a TD for Smithtown West (3-1).
Islip 48, Wyandanch 20: Jack Rao went 9 for 10 in passing for 180 yards and five touchdowns for host Islip (3-1). Alex Morales had two catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Najee Simpson added a 30-yard TD run. Louis Tuorto had eight tackles and Nico Fallacaro added two INTs.
Comsewogue 41, Amityville 18: Nick Saladino went 8 for 8 with 150 passing yards and two TDs for Comsewogue. Saladino added eight carries for 83 yards and two TDs. Dylan Giorlando had 115 receiving yards and two TDs. Robert DiFazio ran 15 times for 95 yards and two TDs. AJ Davis had six tackles and an INT.
Rocky Point 14, Harborfields 0: Peyton Reisinger had two TD passes, one to Ryan Espinal and one to Brogan Casper, for host Rocky Point (3-1). On defense, Casper also had a strip sack and batted down two passes. Espinal finished with four catches for 50 yards. Cristian Cordova had a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery while DJ Xavier and Jack Krilovitch added a sack apiece. John Nadeau had an INT.
Westhampton 35, Half Hollow Hills West 18: Nic Simone took 35 carries for 268 yards and five touchdowns to lead host Westhampton (2-2). He added six tackles and a sack. Andrew Lewis had six tackles, and Jaedyn Cobb had four tackles and a sack. Gavin Engelhardt and Myles Redd each caught a TD pass from Luke Taff, and Jayden Smith ran for a 15-yard TD for Hills West (0-4).
West Islip 27, Eastport-South Manor 0: TJ Sonnenberg completed 7 of 14 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns and had nine carries for 45 yards and a TD to lead visiting West Islip (3-1). Conor Kenefick caught five passes for 109 yards and two TDs. Jovan Brewster had 15 carries for 62 yards and caught a 20-yard TD pass. Jayson Carlson had 10 tackles and two sacks, and Max Tate had 11 tackles, with three for a loss. Kenefick and Emmanuel Obayi and each had an INT. Eastport-South Manor is 2-2.
Sayville 61, Hauppauge 14: Patrick Coan completed 14 of 16 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns, plus six carries for 62 yards and a score, for visiting Sayville. Timmy Holahan had 14 carries for 95 yards and three TDs, and Luke Neugebauer caught five passes for 85 yards and a TD. Liam O’Connor had 11 carries for 153 yards and two TDs for Hauppauge (1-3).
DIVISION IV
Kings Park 58, Shoreham-Wading River 50: Kings Park’s Aidan Barbosa set a school record with 315 rushing yards on 26 carries, plus three touchdowns, to lead visiting Kings Park past Shoreham-Wading River in a wild 58-50 win in Suffolk IV on Friday night. According to coach Mark O’Brien, Vince D’Alto had held the record prior with 275 rushing yards in 2018.
Brandon Shapiro carried the ball 24 times for 170 yards and three TDs and completed 14 of 18 passes for 137 yards and two TDs. Matt Corrado had six receptions for 51 yards and a TD, and Parker Iglio had a 19-yard touchdown reception. Angelo Urso converted all six of his PAT attempts.
Javon Wright caught four passes for 119 yards and three TDs for Shoreham-Wading River (2-2). Noah Gregorek completed 19 of 22 passes for 273 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He added 11 carries for 55 yards. Gavin Cleary opened the scoring with an 88-yard kick return touchdown. George Greene caught six passes for 72 yards.
Babylon 24, Mount Sinai 7: Aidan Winter had 17 carries for 210 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Babylon (4-0) on Friday. Winter added a 40-yard catch, two completions for 31 yards and six tackles. Kai Jankow had 15 carries for 141 yards. Zak Vasquez had 14 tackles and Myles Varley added seven tackles. Jake Ostertag and Jankow each had an interception. Dontae Spadara ran for a TD for Mount Sinai (2-2).
Bayport-Blue Point 49, Hampton Bays 0: Colin Clark threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns and added 75 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries for Bayport-Blue Point (4-0) on Friday. Josh Franchak rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns on three carries and caught a 30-yard TD pass. Brayden Waldbauer caught four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown, and Colin Reyer returned an interception 60 yards for a TD. Hampton Bays is 0-4.
Glenn 47, Port Jefferson 7: Joe Competiello threw for 150 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 83 yards to lead host Glenn (2-2). Keith King had 83 rushing yards with a touchdown and returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown. Jayce Boyle-Summers had three catches for 102 yards and two scores. CJ Mascia caught a touchdown pass and Grayden Aebisher had a rushing score. Aki Avelino chipped in with an interception. Chris Diot threw a 60-yard TD pass to Neko Davis for Port Jefferson (0-4).
