Newsday's top 10 wide receivers on Long Island for the 2026 high school football season

1. Levi Felix, Port Washington, Sr.
Felix is always a threat for a big play. He consistently created separation and averaged 21.4 yards per catch en route to grabbing the Pizzarelli Award as Nassau's top receiver. He had 34 catches for 728 yards and 10 touchdowns to help the Vikings average 31.5 points per game.
2. Aiden Mirelis, Division, Sr.
He might be the best jump-ball receiver on Long Island. At 6-4, his size presents matchup issues, and he led Nassau in receiving touchdowns with 14. He had 43 catches for 808 yards.
3. Colin Darling, Sayville, Sr.
He will be the go-to receiver for a potent Sayville offense. He had 48 catches for 596 yards and four touchdowns, and his reliable hands and route running will make him tough to stop.

4. Joey Karpowicz, Ward Melville, Sr.
The No. 1 target for quarterback Hudson Philbrick, Karpowicz hauled in some spectacular catches en route to helping Ward Melville win a county title. He had 37 catches for 763 yards and nine touchdowns.
5. Raghav Ghosh, Syosset, Sr.
Ghosh had 30 catches for 531 yards and two touchdowns while delivering against tough competition. He is expected to be Syosset’s top offensive weapon.
6. Ryan Terwilliger, Floral Park, Sr.
Standing at 6-5 with the ability to leap high, he’s one of the top red-zone threats on Long Island. He had 37 catches for 579 yards and six touchdowns. The three-sport athlete is a big reason Floral Park is the No. 3 seed in Nassau IV.
7. Christian Myrick, Deer Park, Soph.
An electric athlete with the ball in his hands. Myrick’s speed and ability to make catches downfield make him one of the best sophomores on Long Island. He had 12 total touchdowns, four receiving.

8. Orji Agwu, Lynbrook, Sr.
Agwu had a breakout season in which he led Conference IV in receiving yards with 826. He also had 36 catches and five touchdowns. The tall and athletic receiver helped Lynbrook have one of the most prolific passing attacks on Long Island.
9. Dylan Milio, Massapequa, Sr.
After primarily making an impact at defensive back, Milio is expected to be the top target for Massapequa. He has sure hands and was terrific on the seven-on-seven circuit.
10. Rory McDermott, St. Anthony’s, Jr.
The 6-2 receiver showed flashes during his sophomore season with 28 catches for 481 yards and three touchdowns to help him earn a Division I offer from Colgate. He will look to build off that momentum as one of the CHSFL’s top returning receivers.
