Ava Reilly had 23 assists to surpass 2,000 for her career and lead Port Jefferson to a 25-5, 25-14, 25-6 win over Pierson/Bridgehampton in a Suffolk VIII girls volleyball game on Friday afternoon. Reilly, a senior, also had a kill, two aces, and four digs for the Royals (9-1).

Lina DeLeo had 11 digs and four aces. Sara Puopolo had seven kills, four aces and four digs. Pierson/Bridgehampton is 0-5.

Commack 3, Whitman 0: Ava Khan had 35 digs to lead Commack (3-1) to a 25-19, 29-27, 25-23 win in Suffolk II. Olivia Pagano had 14 assists and 10 digs. Whitman is 0-5.

Sachem East 3, North Babylon 0: Bridget Hansen had 11 kills, 12 Assists and nine digs to lead Sachem East (7-0) to a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 win in Suffolk II. Avery Thurston had nine kills. Alyssa Alamia had seven digs and two aces. North Babylon is 1-5.

Sacred Heart 4, St. Anthony’s 1: Maeve Ahearn had 32 assists and Kara Flannery had 20 digs to lead Sacred Heart (3-1) in NSCHSAA. Jordan McCauley and Niamh Mullen each had 13 digs. Nora Evangelista had 10 kills and six blocks. St. Anthony’s is 1-2.

BOYS SOCCER

Connetquot 3, Copiague 1: Patrick Alvarado scored two goals to lead Connetquot (2-3) in Suffolk II. Kaan Kaya had a goal and two assists. Matt Canales scored for Copiague (0-6) in the second half.

Locust Valley 2, Mineola 0: Jacob Sabow scored in the 15th minute of for Locust Valley (4-1) in Nassau A. Oliver Dostalek made eight saves. Liam Herbig and Skylar Yim anchored the Falcons’ defense earning the shutout. Juan Felipe Florez made six saves for Mineola (3-3).

THURSDAY’S GAMES

Sachem East 2, Central Islip 1: Ryan Lira scored the go-ahead goal with 12 minutes left to lead Sachem East (5-1) in Suffolk I. Matt Molina tied the score on a header off a corner kick by Jaxson Weber in the 64th minute. Kevin Weeks made seven saves. Junior Rivas scored for Central Islip (3-3).

Patchogue-Medford 1, Bay Shore 0: Jonathan Velasquez Salas scored the winner off a feed from Ifeanyi Okonkwo in the 80th minute to lead Patchogue-Medford (5-1) in Suffolk I. Aaron Mendoza made four saves to post his second clean sheet of the season. Anthony Enamorado made eight saves for Bay Shore (1-5).

GIRLS SOCCER

Northport 5, Smithtown West 0: Ava DeMarco had a goal and three assists to lead Northport (5-1) in Suffolk I. Caitlin Cocks scored two goals. Priscilla Hall made six saves for Smithtown West (3-1-2).

THURSDAY’S GAMES

West Hempstead 4, Valley Stream South 1: Liliana Macchia had a hat trick with three assists from Ryan Medica for West Hempstead (1-3) in Nassau AB-III. Marissa Koller added a goal. Nina Munafo scored for Valley Stream South (0-5).

Carle Place 6, Oyster Bay 0: Daniella Correia had three goals and two assists to lead Carle Place (4-2) past Oyster Bay (0-4) in Nassau A/B-II. Madison Reedy added two assists. Brooke Stelatto added a goal. Emma Barros made seven saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

Long Beach 3, Great Neck South 1: Delaney Kaplan had a goal and two assists to lead Long Beach (1-2) in Nassau IV. Olivia Streeter added a goal. Sujin Kim scored for Great Neck South (0-3).

Harborfields 7, West Babylon 0: Emma Glick had a hat trick, and Lydia Engelmann scored her first varsity goal to lead Harborfields (6-1) in Suffolk II.

Isabella Miranda had 18 saves for West Babylon (0-8).
