Jaxson Torres threw a no-hitter on 82 pitches, walking one and striking out 15 over seven innings in Plainedge’s 8-0 win over Locust Valley in Nassau A baseball on Monday. Taylor Nitsch went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Dylan Loccisano hit two doubles. Bobby Wescott had a hit and drove in two runs for Plainedge (13-0). Cole Corey drew a walk for Locust Valley (5-10).

Oyster Bay 8, Friends Academy 4: Connor O’Brien allowed an earned run and struck out nine over six innings for Oyster Bay (7-3) in Nassau B. Chase Lordi went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer. Ethan Ruff went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run.

West Islip 3, Lindenhurst 0: Brian Brower allowed no hits and struck out 10 over four innings for West Islip (10-3) in non-league. Vance Kane hit a two-run homer. Matt Tomasello tossed three scoreless innings of relief. Sean Cima struck out 12 for Lindenhurst (4-9).

SOFTBALL

Oceanside 1, Calhoun 0: Hailey Bischoff went 2-for-3 and drove in Amaya Jurado in the fourth inning for Oceanside (11-3) in Nassau I. Caroline Ferchland pitched a complete game shutout, allowing two hits and striking out five. Sophia Nicastro struck out eight over six innings for Calhoun (8-7).

Glen Cove 3, Syosset 0: Brooke Simmons threw a complete game two-hitter, striking out 11 for Glen Cove (4-10) in Nassau I. Siena Scagliola went 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Kate Leogas had a hit for Syosset (6-8).

Smithtown West 8, Sayville 7: Avery Bonello’s walk-off single drove in Gianna Cataldi in the ninth inning for Smithtown West (9-5) in non-league. Bonello, Cataldi, Mya Woodall and Isabella Russo each had two hits. Rianna Krempa had three RBIs for Sayville (5-9).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Hicksville 17, Floral Park 11: Brooke Sullivan had six goals and two assists to lead Hicksville (8-3) in Nassau III. Gwendolyn Kohart had two goals and six assists. Catherine Perrucci had five goals and an assist. Ashley Battista had three goals and an assist for Floral Park (7-4).

Babylon 15, Glenn 10: Ryleigh Busch, Lily Krollage and Peyton Logue-Boyd each scored three goals for Babylon (6-4) in Suffolk II. Mia Jankow and Abby Parmentier each had two goals and an assist. Michaela Grever scored six goals for Glenn (5-5).

Islip 7, Harborfields 6: Caitlin Barnes scored the game-winner in overtime to lead Islip (7-4) in Suffolk II. Barnes finished with four goals. Abbey Dieumegard made 10 saves. Molly Giordano had 11 saves for Harborfields (8-3).

Kellenberg 6, Sacred Heart 5: Kate Maier scored off an assist from Mairead O’Sullivan in triple overtime, winning the NSCHSAA game for Kellenberg (8-4). O’Sullivan had two assists. Caroline O’Doherty had two goals. Olivia Manago made 15 saves for Sacred Heart (5-5).
