Connor Ackerman, St. Dominic
The junior righthander tossed a three-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks to lead the Bayhawks to a 5-0 win over Iona Prep in the state CHSAA semifinals.
Jack Corrigan, James Alonso, Massapequa
Corrigan got a five-out hold in relief and Alonso earned the four-out save as the pair combined for three innings of relief with no earned runs allowed in a 5-3 win over Monroe-Woodbury.
AJ Calapai, Plainedge
He went 2-for-2 with a sacrifice fly and three RBIs in a 7-0 win over Marlboro Central.
Tyler Camastro-Szwejkowski, St. Dominic
Sophomore righty threw a two-hitter in a 9-1 win over Nichols (Buffalo) in the state CHSAA title game.
Joe Genova, Massapequa
He went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 5-3 win over Monroe-Woodbury. And 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and two runs in a 7-1 win over Liverpool in the state title game.
Dom Santivasci, Plainedge
He went 3-for-5 with a walk and an RBI between the state Class A semifinals and final for Plainedge. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI in the 7-0 semifinal win over Marlboro Central and added two hits and a walk in the 5-0 loss to Averill Park in the final.
Jack Scannapieco, Massapequa
The staff ace allowed one run on five hits and one walk and struck out five in a 7-1 state Class AAA title win over Liverpool.
