Newsday's annual list of the top 100 Long Island high school girls volleyball players to start the 2026 season, listed in alphabetical order. All stats listed are from last season, unless otherwise noted.
Kiera Acholonu, St. Dominic, M/OH, Soph.
Acholonu had 153 kills and 25 blocks.
Lindsay Adams, Hauppauge, S, Sr.
Adams had 236 assists and 73 kills.
Cali Addeo, Islip, OH, Sr.
Addeo had over 200 kills for the Suffolk Class A runner-up.
Maeve Ahearn, Sacred Heart, Sr.
Ahearn is the orchestrator of Sacred Heart’s offense. She totaled over 200 assists.
Arielle Aifuobhokhan, Elmont, OH, Jr.
Aifuobhokhan had 155 digs and 128 kills.
Alyssa Alamia, Sachem East, L, Sr.
Alamia had 236 digs, 24 assists, 26 aces and 18 kills.
Kayleigh Balsamo, Centereach, S, Jr.
Balsamo was first on the team in assists and third in kills.
Cora Benjamin, Connetquot, M, Sr.
Benjamin totaled 52 kills, 14 blocks and 12 aces despite missing time with an injury.
Khylee Boesch, Sayville, M, Sr.
Boesch had 186 kills, 40 aces, 38 blocks and was named League VI Player of the Year.
Julia Bonino, Kellenberg, S, Jr.
Bonino had 224 assists, 97 digs and 31 aces.
Myles Campbell, Elmont, S, Jr.
Campbell tallied 426 assists.
Chloe Carr, Centereach, OH, Soph.
Carr finished second on the team in kills.
Maria Cerulli, Ward Melville, L, Sr.
Cerulli led the Patriots in digs.
Brianna Cerullo, Smithtown East, OH, Sr.
Cerullo had 171 kills, 135 digs and was named League III Player of the Year.
Ella Cherry, Port Washington, M, Sr.
Cherry tallied 57 kills and is an imposing blocking presence.
Khloe Collins, Hauppauge, M, Sr.
She had 133 kills, 34 blocks and 29 aces for the Suffolk Class AA runner-up.
Ella Corso, Half Hollow Hills West, OH, Jr.
Corso had 144 kills, 102 digs, and 20 aces.
Lisa Cortizo, Kellenberg, OH, Sr.
Cortizo accumulated 70 kills and 23 blocks despite missing nearly a month of the season.
Alexandra Cossaro, Bethpage, OH, Sr.
Cossaro had 176 kills, 79 digs and 49 aces.
Emily Dantona, Half Hollow Hills West, M, Sr.
Dantona had 131 kills, 31 blocks and 11 digs.
Lila Davin, Westhampton, L, Sr.
Davin had 209 digs, 31 assists and 24 aces.
Analiah Delacruz, Division, S, Sr.
Delacruz tallied 500 assists, the second highest total in Nassau.

Kylie DiMenna, Sachem North, M/RS, Sr.
DiMenna had 341 kills, 41 blocks, 20 aces and 20 digs.
Emily DeSetto, Massapequa, M, Sr.
DeSetto had 73 kills and 17 blocks.
Regina Dong, Great Neck South, L, Fr.
Coach Nicholas Sepe feels Dong has the ability to completely change the team’s serve-receive and defensive game.
Addison Dove, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, OH, Jr.
Dove had 94 kills during the regular season for the state Class AAA runner-up.
Abigail Eichner, Wheatley, OH/L, Sr.
Eichner started the season at libero and shifted to the outside for the postseason, totaling 209 digs, 68 aces and 40 kills.
Antonella Ercoli, Mepham, M/OH, Soph.
Ercoli had 90 kills, 51 blocks and 20 aces.
Caitlin Ferrari, South Side, M, Sr.
Ferrari had over 60 kills and 20 blocks during the regular season.
Autumn Fichtelberg, Half Hollow Hills West, S, Jr.
Fichtelberg tallied 306 assists, 66 digs and 60 aces for the Suffolk Class A champion.

Jaelynn Flores Rojas, Sachem North, S/DS, Sr.
Flores Rojas totaled 384 assists, 119 digs and 21 aces.
Nicole Gatti, Oyster Bay, OH, Sr.
Gatti had 127 kills, 80 digs and 21 aces.
Peyton Gerth, Kellenberg, M/OH, Jr.
Gerth had 92 kills, 26 blocks and 15 aces.
Emma Graziano, West Islip, OH, Jr.
Graziano averaged six kills per set and led the team in aces and digs.
Teresa Gregory, Garden City, OH, Sr.
Gregory had 220 kills, 55 aces, 49 digs and 17 blocks for the state Class AA runner-up.
Bridget Hansen, Sachem East, S/OH, Sr.
Hansen is a force at either position. She led the team in both assists and kills.
Abigail Heron, St. Anthony’s, OH, Jr.
A strong force on the outside, Heron will look to help St. Anthony’s reach another county final.
Savannah Hesse, Mt. Sinai, M, Sr.
Hess had 190 kills and 25 blocks.
Kylie Hoffman, Wantagh, OH, Sr.
The Lebanon Valley commit had 165 kills.
Kelsie Kennedy, Bay Shore, L, Sr.
The St. Anselm commit had 302 digs, 79 aces and 37 assists as Bay Shore completed an undefeated regular season.

Khan had 250 digs, 41 aces and was named League II Defensive Player of the Year.
Olivia Kozich, Division, L, Sr.
Kozich had 176 digs and 147 kills.
Kiera Kozlowski, Holy Trinity, M, Sr.
Kozlowski’s height and power make her vital on both sides of the ball for the Titans.
Peyton Kulesa, Hauppauge, OH, Sr.
The Dominican University commit had 122 kills for the Suffolk Class AA runner-up.
Kaylee LaFranca, Rocky Point, M, Sr.
LaFranca had 127 kills, 91 digs, 26 aces and 16 blocks.
Callie La Personerie, Oceanside, L, Sr.
La Personerie eclipsed 500 career digs and will continue to be the backbone of the Sailors’ defense.
Jill Livingston, Sayville, OH, Sr.
Livingston had 237 digs and 233 kills.
Maria Loaiza, Floral Park, OH, Sr.
Loaiza’s strong hitting powered the Knights to an undefeated regular season.
Caitlin Lynch, East Rockaway, S, Sr.
Lynch totaled 237 assists, 97 digs and 63 aces.
Colleen Lynch, East Rockaway, M, Sr.
Lynch had 172 kills and 26 blocks, forming a strong duo with her twin sister.
Emily Madden, Sacred Heart, OH, Sr.
Madden will become one of the focal points of Sacred Heart’s offense.
Reilly Maloney, Westhampton, M, Jr.
Maloney had 73 kills, 50 blocks, 32 aces and 28 digs.
Devyn Mandell, North Shore, OH, Jr.
Mandell had 128 kills, 90 digs, 29 aces and eight blocks.
Thea Mangels, Port Jefferson, M, Sr.
Mangels had 188 kills, 35 digs and 31 aces.
Sydney Marshall, South Side, OH, Jr.
Marshall will step into a more prominent role on offense for the Cyclones.
Kaitlyn McNamara, Glenn, M, Sr.
McNamara had over 140 kills, 60 blocks and 50 aces.
Helena Miller, South Side, M, Sr.
Miller had 181 kills, 62 blocks and 21 aces.
Haven Mills, Bay Shore, OH, Jr.
Mills had 336 kills, 131 digs, 68 aces and 19 blocks.
Miyah Mirelis, Division, M, Sr.
Mirelis was a dominant force in the middle, totaling 180 kills and 103 blocks.
Kelsey Morrison, Bayport-Blue Point, S, Sr.
Morrison led the Phantoms in assists and was one of the team’s best servers.

Pastore had 386 digs, 72 aces and 41 assists.

Peluso had 487 digs, 51 aces and 48 kills.

Pfeffer had 229 kills, 47 blocks and 39 aces for the Nassau AA-II champions.
Camden Phillips, Smithtown West, M, Sr.
Phillips tallied over 70 kills for the League IV champions.
Sara Puopolo, Port Jefferson, OH, Jr.
Puopolo had 245 digs, 52 kills and 27 aces as she split time between libero and outside hitter.

The Johnson and Wales commit had 676 assists, 153 digs, 51 kills and 32 aces.
Rosemarie Remsen, Smithtown East, S, Soph.
Remsen had 344 assists, 132 digs and 68 aces.
Cassandra Rhodes, St. Anthony’s, M, Sr.
Rhodes continues to display excellence on both sides of the net for the Friars.
Zoe Rios-Nogales, Great Neck North, OH, Jr.
Rios-Nogales averaged 14 kills, seven digs and five aces per match.
Shayleigh Robson, Bayport-Blue Point, M, Sr.
Robson was integral at the net, offensively and defensively, for the Suffolk Class B champs.
Liv Rochlin, Harborfields, L, Sr.
Rochlin had 297 digs and 48 aces.
Samantha Rostron, Longwood, L, Sr.
Rostron had over 200 digs, including a 36-dig performance against Brentwood.
Maddie Santos, Mepham, L, Sr.
Santos totaled 196 digs and 37 aces for the Nassau Class AA runner-up.
Kirra Schoerlin, Hampton Bays, M, Sr.
Schoerlin had 126 kills and 30 blocks.
Madeline Silvestri, Syosset, OH, Sr.
Silvestri had 169 digs, 146 kills and 33 aces.
Shannon Smith, Bay Shore, OH, Jr.
