Division 2
103 pounds: Andrew Dolson, Shoreham-Wading River
The freshman scored an early takedown and rode that to a 6-0 victory against Parker Menechino of Mt Sinai.
110 pounds: Thomas Matias, Shoreham-Wading River
The sophomore was dominant and repeated as the Suffolk DII champion with a 19-3 technical fall win over Bayport-Blue Point's Brady Santora.
118 pounds: Chase Davis, Port Jefferson
His pin of Miller Place's Noah Bloom in 3:32 earned him the Jack Mahoney Champion of Champions award as voted on by the other DII champions.
126 pounds: Aidan Lee, Glenn
Lee repeated as champion with a 4-0 win over Evan Seppe of Miller Place. He is a three-time Suffolk finalist and a four-time place winner. Lee took fourth in the state last season.
132 pounds: Shane Wells, Mt. Sinai
After near misses the last two seasons Wells won his first Suffolk title with an 11-7 decision over TJ Stazzone of Kings Park.
138 pounds: Justin D’Arce, Center Moriches
He escaped in the second period for the bout’s only point in a 1-0 win over Glenn's David Futeran to repeat as champion..
144 pounds: Gavin Mangano, Shoreham-Wading River
Mangano earned the Rick Herrmann Outstanding Wrestler award of the tournament after an 18-2 technicall fall win over Miller Place's Alex Southworth. It is the fourth Suffolk title for Mangano, who also is a two-time defending state champion.
150 pounds: Anthony Perrino, Miller Place
The junior built a 10-1 first period lead en route a 17-2 technical fall win over Mt. Sinai's John Delaney in 3:36.
157 pounds: Kevin Vasquez, Kings Park
The junior’s 14-second pin on Glenn's Ethan Katz is one of the fastest in the history of the Suffolk Division II finals.
165 pounds: Erik Desmond, Babylon
The senior used a takedown to decision Mt. Sinai's Connor Fabian, 3-0, to repeat as champion. He looks to become his school’s first all-state wrestler in 10 years at the state meet in Albany in two weeks.
175 pounds:– Niko Drakopoulos, Glenn
After finishing fourth as a junior he came back to win a crown when he gained a takedown in the final three seconds for a 4-2 win over Kings Park's Jackson Ainsley.
190 pounds: Gage McKigney, Kings Park
McKigney decisioned Port Jefferson's Sam Fabian, 7-2. WIth that win, he and Kevin Vasquez became the first teammates in school history to win Suffolk titles in the same season.
215 pounds:– Lucas Norinderm, Babylon
The junior was awarded the title after a shoulder injury stopped Matttuck's Joseph Martocchia in the first period.
285 pounds:– Bradyn Ellis, Miller Place
Ellis has been on a roll as of late. His pin secured the Division II team state title for the Panthers last week and Ellis earned his first Suffolk title this week with a 9-2 decision over Glenn's Luca Palisciano.
