The outdoor heated saltwater pool is open to only hotel guests. Six cabanas are available by the pool, first come, first served. CANOE PLACE INN & COTTAGES

The one-time location of the iconic Hamptons nightclub CPI (Canoe Place Inn) is now home to a luxury hotel equipped with a restaurant, a full-service spa, a fitness center and a heated outdoor pool. Guests can order food and drinks poolside , and a daybed can be reserved for $500 for a maximum of four adults, with a $150 minimum for additional food and beverage service. Treatments available at the Sommetbeauty Spa include various massages, body treatments, and facials. Day passes to the pool are available from 8 a.m. to dusk starting at $99 for adults on Resort Pass. Rooms start at $595.

FIRE ISLAND BEACH HOUSE

This spot has an outdoor pool area where the entertainment will be a mix of live music and DJs spinning chilled-out beats on weekends. The pool is currently open only to guests, but the hotel's restaurant, Canes at the FIBH, and bar are open to the public. Rooms start at $235 off-peak season (late May, June and September, weekday) plus $50 resort fee per night, $450 peak season (July and August, weekday) plus $50 resort fee per night.

SOUND VIEW GREENPORT

With a pool located close to the Long Island Sound shoreline, you can lounge poolside while looking out at the water. Both hotel guests and non-guests can hang, with day passes available ranging from $75 to $125 per person. They also have a limited quantity of seasonal "all access passes." The resort is bringing back its Low Tide beach bar (starting Memorial Day weekend), where one can sit in beach chairs or stroll over to an outdoor tiki bar where cocktails are mixed. There is live music on Saturdays and Sundays at the beach. Food is available at the Low Tide bar (during open hours, no reservations needed), at Jack’s Shack poolside snack hut for guests and pass holders or Halyard restaurant (reservations required). MONTAUK MANOR

THE INN AT FOX HOLLOW

This hotel has a saltwater pool (for guests only) in a palm tree-encircled courtyard, where guests can eat, drink and play lawn games. Indoor and outdoor dining is available at the Vintage 25 bar and lounge as are icy beverages. The hotel includes a complimentary full breakfast buffet daily and dinner buffet Monday-Thursday (excluding holidays) for all overnight guests. Complimentary coffee, tea and fresh baked cookies are also available daily. Located on the western North Fork yet not far from the Hamptons, this is a convenient place to stay on the East End.
