TileBar opens 10,000-square-foot showroom in Manhasset, its first on Long Island

TileBar, an Inwood-based designer and distributor of home flooring and tiles, has opened its first Long Island location in Manhasset.

Founded in 2009 in New York City, the company opened its local showroom on July 1 inside a 10,000-square-foot, two-story location at 1900 Northern Blvd., according to local management. The location marks the design and bathroom tile retailer’s first location on the Island, and its ninth showroom in the United States.

"Manhasset is one of Long Island’s premier destinations for luxury retail and design brands, making it a natural step in TileBar’s continued retail expansion," a company spokesperson said in an email.

"We’ve expanded from two locations at this time last year, and are continuing to open new locations across the country," the spokesperson said.

The showroom was designed to provide homeowners and contractors the opportunity to see the brand's line of tiles and bathroom vanities and "receive personalized assistance with their projects,” the company said.

The company, which sells porcelain, ceramic and luxury vinyl tiles as well as bathroom vanities online, employs more than 800 staffers across its operations, according to the company's website.

The company has showroom locations in Manhattan; Washington, D.C.; Dallas; Burlington, Massachusetts; Paramus, New Jersey; Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina; and Richmond, Virginia, according to its website.
