Billy Joel to do first-ever call-in show, on SiriusXM channel

If you have questions for Billy Joel, the man himself will take your calls.

The Long Island rock icon will host a live call-in special during The Billy Joel Show on SiriusXM Thursday at 2 p.m. Fans can call in with questions and speak directly with Joel in real time, according to SiriusXM. The satellite radio company is calling this show a "world exclusive" that marks the Piano Man's first-ever live call-in show.

Fans are encouraged to submit questions now by calling 844-365-BILLY or visiting siriusxm.com/askbilly.

The announcement that Joel will interact with fans arrives just days after he was erroneously reported dead by Google. "Died Sept. 17, 2026," an information box on the search engine’s results page for Joel announced that day. The singer’s publicist quickly debunked that, adding: "I was just emailing with him."

Joel, 77, canceled all tour dates last year following a diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus, a brain disorder that was causing problems with his balance. Since then, Joel has kept himself in the public eye with periodic appearances that have included "Club Random With Bill Maher" and Rick Beato’s YouTube podcast. Most recently, Joel appeared on his SiriusXM show to reveal that he had undergone surgery to install a shunt in his brain.
