Things are about to get surreal in Riverhead. On Sept. 20, The Suffolk theater will host "Twin Peaks: Conversations With the Stars" featuring three actors from David Lynch's cult TV series that ran on ABC from 1990 to '91.
Headlining the event will be Sheryl Lee, who played both murder victim Laura Palmer and her identical-looking cousin, Maddy Ferguson; Ray Wise, who appeared as Laura's father; and Michael Horse, who portrayed Deputy Sheriff Tommy "Hawk" Hill. Joining them will be Sabrina S. Sutherland, executive producer of Showtime's 2017 follow-up "Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series," which picked up 25 years after Laura's murder. All will share stories about the making of the show and clips from the show will be presented.
Tickets for "Conversations" are $49-$89 and can be purchased by calling 631-727-4343 or visiting thesuffolk.org. There are also two VIP packages available for superfans. The $299 Platinum Package includes a preshow photo opportunity with the "Twin Peaks" cast, a poster signed by the actors, a commemorative laminate and priority access to the venue. For an extra $300, the Diamond Package adds on a 30-minute cocktail party with the cast members following the event.
"Twin Peaks" was co-created by Lynch, who died last year, and Mark Frost. In addition to the two series, Lynch directed the 1992 feature film "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" that focused on Laura's final days.
