ISSUES
- Blakeman said he would keep Nassau the safest county in America by hiring new police officers to “stop the chaos of New York City” from entering Long Island.
- He said he would not raise property taxes, and would work to attract new companies that bolster the county’s economy.
- He said he would protect Nassau’s suburban quality of life from “extremist politicians” who want to “flood our community with migrants and low-income, high-density apartment buildings.”
