Saladino, 64, is a registered Republican and is running on the Conservative and Republican party lines in the general election.
He is seeking a fifth term as Oyster Bay Town supervisor. He was first appointed to the position in 2017 while serving as a state assemblyman and was elected later that year.
He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology.

Saladino said he doesn’t agree with New York State’s approach to high-density development and said local stakeholders should be involved more closely in the creation of new housing.
He said he will continue to push for the complete cleanup of Bethpage Community Park, the former dumping ground of Grumman Aerospace.
He said his priorities include advancing initiatives that restore the shellfish population in local harbors, including through the creation of a shellfish hatchery.
