Aloise, 42, of Garden City, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic Party line in the general election. This is her first bid for public office.
She worked in the Queens County District Attorney's Office for 11 years where she prosecuted violent felons. She joined the Nassau County District Attorney's Office in 2020 under former DA Madeline Singas where she worked in narcotics and gangs, then homicide bureaus.
She holds a law degree from St. John's University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton.

Aloise says she would like to rebuild the Nassau District Attorney's office by hiring back experienced attorneys and better managing paralegals, support staff and civil service workers.
She pledges to be independent and free from partisan politics in running the office, pointing out she "stood up" against the Democratic Party on the issue of cashless bail.
She says she will increase the conviction rate and would lobby Albany lawmakers for legislation that would impose harsher penalties for drug dealers.
