Housing inventory dropped to its lowest level in more than a decade last month, according to data released this week.
There were 3,511 single-family homes on the market in Nassau and Suffolk counties, according to OneKey MLS. Low inventory also drove down the number of transactions in February to 1,148 — 3.6% fewer than the same time last year, Newsday reported.
And prices continued trending upwards. Median sale prices rose 0.7% year over year in Suffolk, but swelled by 6.3% in Nassau.
Here's what sold in each county under that median price, where the most sales were recorded and what buyers got for their money.
