Islanders fans heading to UBS Arena this season can begin circling their calendars for their favorite giveaways.
The Islanders announced their promotional schedule for this upcoming season on Tuesday morning, and bobbleheads, T-shirts and hats are among the gifts throughout the year.
The hottest item on the schedule? That surely will be the Matthew Schaefer bobblehead, which will be given away ahead of the team’s game against the Wild on Saturday, Feb. 13. All fans in attendance will receive the bobblehead.

There’s a bobblehead giveaway for another Islanders star, too: goalie Ilya Sorokin. That will be before the team’s game against Winnipeg on Friday, Nov. 27, and all fans in attendance will receive his bobblehead.
For the team’s home opener against the Devils on Saturday, Oct. 3, all fans in attendance will receive an Islanders T-shirt.
The Islanders’ game against the Devils on Saturday, Nov. 7, marks Military Appreciation Night, and the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive an Islanders camouflage hat.
Another hat giveaway will be exactly four months later on Sunday, March 7, when the Islanders celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Wars with Star Wars Day. The first 10,000 fans in attendance for the team’s game against the Penguins will receive bucket hats.
Other promotions include a “Chuck the Goat” ornament giveaway courtesy of GOAT USA – an American clothing brand – to the first 10,000 fans in attendance for the Islanders’ game against the Panthers on Tuesday, Dec. 1, and a 2026-27 yearbook giveaway to all fans attending the game against Columbus on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The Islanders will host several community outings with coinciding giveaways for fans who purchase tickets through their offers. Those include youth baseball night (an Islanders baseball jersey for the Nov. 5 game vs. Carolina), youth soccer night (an Islanders soccer jersey for the Feb. 13 game vs. Minnesota) and scouts nights (an Islanders patch for the Dec. 4 game vs. San Jose and the March 27 game vs. Detroit), among others.
The Islanders also will hold four different heritage celebration nights with T-shirt giveaways for fans who purchase tickets via the team’s offers: Italian (vs. the Kings on Oct. 22), Jewish (vs. the Flames on Dec. 10), Salvadoran (vs. the Flyers on Feb. 26) and Greek (vs. the Red Wings on March 27).
