Kenny, 65, of Glen Head, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative party lines in the general election.
He was appointed Chief Clerk of the Appellate Term, Second Department in 2007, and since 1996 has been an adjunct professor in the Law & Paralegal Studies Department at CUNY New York City College of Technology.
From 2000 to 2007, Kenny was Deputy Chief Court Attorney in Kings County.
From 1988 to 1992, Kenny was in general practice and also served as co-counsel to the New York State Court Officer’s Association.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University in 1982 and his law degree from CUNY Law School in 1986. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1987.
