Joe Fernandez scored the game-winning goal off a free kick with two seconds left in double overtime, lifting Floyd’s boys soccer team to a 3-2 win over Riverhead in Suffolk I. Fernandez finished with two goals and an assist, with his first goal tying the game with four minutes left. Abdiel Nij scored a goal with six minutes left for Riverhead (0-6-1).
Bay Shore 1, Sachem North 0: Kenneth Tamay scored the go-ahead goal off an assist from Luis Fugon nine minutes into the second half for Bay Shore (3-5) in Suffolk I. Anthony Enamorado made eight saves for his third clean sheet. Dylan Barker made seven saves for Sachem North (3-3-2).
MacArthur 3, Mepham 2: With 1:38 remaining in regulation, Landon Pacheco drew a penalty in the box and Matt Kobrin scored the penalty kick to give MacArthur (2-4-1) the lead in Nassau AA-I. Pacheco scored two goals. Brian Molina and George Hakim had assists. Derek Arcos and Rhys Markwalter each scored a goal for Mepham (3-2-3).
Centereach 3, Ward Melville 1: Carlos DePinho, Dylan Malone and Alex Loeffler all scored second-half goals to lift Centereach (2-4) to a Suffolk II win. Thomas Zwirblis had five saves. Myles Webber scored off an assist from Leonardo Cuervo-Torres for Ward Melville (4-2). James Wright saved seven shots.
Commack 2, North Babylon 1: Ryan Curcio scored on a free kick with 1:20 remaining in the first overtime period to win it for Commack (6-0) in Suffolk II. Curcio finished with two goals, as he also scored the match’s first goal off an assist from Chris Morici. Logan Gatto made five saves. Max Ragowski tied the game with a penalty kick in the 74th minute and Gianluca Turano saved nine shots for North Babylon (3-3).
West Islip 3, Westhampton 1: Quinn Butler scored his first varsity goal to tie the game before Nilson Nunez’s go-ahead goal in the second half to lift West Islip (2-4) to a Suffolk IV win. Kolton Heyman scored his first varsity goal with less than four minutes left in the second half. Nate Cangelosi had 12 saves for Westhampton (3-5).
Babylon 6, Greenport 2: Lenric Mejia had a hat trick to lead Babylon (3-4) in Suffolk VI. Brenden McCarthy, Richie Sorto and Christian Pena each scored a goal. David Chapeton scored two goals for Greenport (1-6-1).

East Islip 4, Deer Park 0: Payten Tidridge had two goals and one assist to lead East Islip (3-3) to a Suffolk II win. Mollie Pellicano made 10 saves for Deer Park (2-4).
Bayport-Blue Point 1, Rocky Point 0: Olivia Brady scored the go-ahead goal in the second half for Bayport-Blue Point (6-1) in Suffolk III. Cadence Adamo made 10 saves for Rocky Point (3-3-1).
Harborfields 3, Kings Park 0: Molly Walsh scored two goals to lead Harborfields (7-0) in Suffolk III. Her older sister, Shannon Walsh scored a goal. Taylor Valdes made nine save for Kings Park (1-4-2).
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Whitman 3, Half Hollow Hills 2: Zen Stewart racked up 21 kills, five digs and five blocks to lead Whitman (4-2) past Half Hollow Hills (1-5) in five sets, 20-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 16-14, in Suffolk I. Brian Rankel totaled 30 assists, seven digs, and an ace.
Bay Shore 3, Smithtown East 1: Mike Cancel had 10 kills and two blocks to lead Bay Shore (5-1), 25-15, 15-25, 25-20, 25-22, in Suffolk I. James Huber had 24 kills, Maddox Imhoff picked up 29 digs and Jacob Hinde served up 50 assists.
Sayville 3, East Islip 0: Gavin Sack had 20 kills and Liam Reese had 14 kills and 16 digs to lead Sayville (5-0) in Suffolk II. Gavin Ludwig had 36 assists.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Mineola 3, Lawrence 0: Caitlin Powers had 12 kills and two assists to lead Mineola (4-0) , 25-18, 25-11, 25-7, in Nassau A-II. Ella Troche had three digs and five aces. Julia Bosco had two kills, an assist, three digs and five aces. Alexandra Griswold had a kill, three assists, two digs and four aces. Kyla Sleeper had a kill, 13 assists, three digs and two aces.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Bay Shore 23, Riverhead 35: Ryan Cruickshank finished second overall in 16 minutes, 42 seconds in the 2.5 miles to lead Bay Shore (2-0) in Suffolk II. Julia Chycherska won the individual race in 16:41 for Riverhead (0-2).
West Islip 17, Westhampton 43: Luna Pankratz, Maddie Howley and Samantha Shannon finished top three, respectively, in the 5 kilometers at Belmont Lake Park to lead West Islip (2-1) in Suffolk V.
BOYS GOLF
Sachem 8.5, Patchogue, Medford 0.5: Lee Kaiser Jr shot a 2-under-par 34 and Cole Rosensweig shot an even-par 36 on the front nine of the Dogwood Course at Middle Island Country Club to lead Sachem (3-0) in Suffolk I. For Patchogue-Medford (0-4), Ron Hottinger and Parker Masem each shot a 36.
