Actor-comedian Eddie Murphy, who grew up in Roosevelt, has been the recipient of everything from a Grammy Award to a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Come April 3, he'll be ready to receive something even he might have never dreamed of — his Medicare card.

Murphy turns 65 that day, officially making the "Saturday Night Live" alum and star of hit movies like the "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Shrek" franchises a senior citizen. As hard to believe as that may seem, Murphy isn't the only celebrity marking that milestone this year. He's in good company with these six.
