BACKGROUND
- Mosley, 50, of Long Beach, is a registered Democrat and is running on the Democratic Party line in the general election. She said she is a “proud Latina,” a first-generation American of Dominican and Ecuadorian descent and has lived in Long Beach for 31 years.
- She has a juris doctorate from Hofstra law school in Hempstead and an MBA from Adelphi University in Garden City. She is an attorney with the Meenan & Associates law firm in Manhattan and has her own private law practice in Melville. Mosley was previously a supervising court attorney for Kings County Civil Court in Brooklyn.

She is vice president of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and president-elect of the Puerto Rican Bar Association in New York City.
ISSUES
- Mosley said she believes in “preserving the charm of our beach town while improving infrastructure, promoting public safety and ensuring a high standard of living for all.”
- She said she believes in “smart community-focused policies that protect residents from being priced out while promoting economic stability and opportunity for those who call Long Beach home.”
- She said taxpayers “deserve transparency, accountability and value for every dollar they contribute.”
