Thomas Fleischman struck out 11 and walked two in a no-hitter to lead Patchogue-Medford to a 5-0 win over Whitman in Suffolk League I baseball on Thursday. Fleischman threw 94 pitches in seven innings.

Ashton Klugewicz had three hits, two doubles and three RBIs and Chase Desantis added two hits for Patchogue-Medford (6-3).

Bayport-Blue Point 7, Shoreham-Wading River 6: Zane Chirco drove in Bailey Gelling with a go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to lead Bayport-Blue Point (5-3) in Suffolk VII. Chirco went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Vin Scimone pitched two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win. Aidan Richman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Conor Dietz went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Shoreham-Wading River (6-2).

SOFTBALL

Baldwin 11, Valley Stream North 9: Lilly Duet drove in Chole Collado and Amanda Aguiluz with a go-ahead triple in the bottom of the sixth to lead Baldwin (2-5) in Nassau IV. Collado had three RBIs and Isabella Fleck added an RBI. Tiffany Melendez went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored for Valley Stream North (4-3).

Plainedge 5, Farmingdale 4: Savannah Speicher went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead Plainedge (6-3) in Nassau II. Plainedge trailed 3-2 in the fifth inning before Speicher had an RBI single and Toni Testa had a two-run double. Megan Scott hit a solo home run for Farmingdale (2-6).

Longwood 9, Riverhead 7: Addy Urso’s RBI double ignited a two-out, six-run rally in the fifth to help Longwood (4-4) overcome a 5-2 deficit in a Suffolk I win. Madison Vargas went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Sophia Kordecki and Veronica Schag each went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Jordyn Kwasna went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs for Riverhead (5-4).

Great Neck North 7, Oyster Bay 6: Nathan Damaghi scored five goals, including the go-ahead goal with 1:32 left for Great Neck North (5-0-2) in Nassau III-B. Kian Soleymani had five assists and Brian Scheidt made 20 saves. Finn Meyer had three goals for Oyster Bay (0-7).

Bellmore JFK 11, Floral Park 10: Kristin Lichtenstein scored the winning goal in the fourth overtime period for Bellmore JFK (6-3) in Nassau III. Lichtenstein had three goals and two assists and Mia Monzidelis had six goals and an assist. Jessie Sandford scored four goals for Floral Park (5-3).

New Hyde Park 12, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 11: Francesca Curatolo scored six goals, including the winning goal with 1:30 left in the first OT overtime period to lead New Hyde Park (3-2) in Nassau III. Maddie Zhentner made 16 saves. Olivia Wong had six goals for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (4-1).
