Lecture: The Jazz Age (Roaring 20’s) with the Zuckermans

Feb6

This was the time, after World War I, that Americans began to shake off the traditions of the past and look toward the future. It was a decade when many great inventions were created, and scientific advances took place. Also, the 20’s was a time of political unrest, epitomized by the “Red Scare” and social revolution, especially in regard to women’s rights, when they removed the shackles imposed on them during the Gilded Age. Join us for this presentation and learn about this fascinating period of American history, and especially how it was reflected in New York City.
